An oversight on my part...

So I realized that this whole time we've had the blog I have neglected to add MC Frontalot's site to the list of free music. MC Frontalot's music is somewhere right in the middle of OUR PERFECT FORMAT. If you like the show I dont see how you couldn't like Frontalot. That said, he offers his mp3's for free and all his songs are exceedingly good. Enjoy!

Enthusiasm as a replacement for knowledge....

I'm going to be covering the Reggae Revolution show for our good friend Selector Jonathan on Tuesday, Dec 15th from 10pm to midnight. This means that next week you'll get four hours of Fidel Podcastro (formerly DJ Starscream, final name to be decided).
I will do my darnedest to record both shows and get them up here so we can all have a laugh at my expense (since what I know about reggae is rather...limited).

p.s. - Russian Circles is playing at The Strutt on Wednesday. This is jaw-dropping for several reasons; an amazing band comes to Kalamazoo VERY rarely, the venue is decent, and its only 12 dollars. Do yourself a favor and come check it out if'n you're able.

Yes we're back and with some hiccups, some laughing fits and in general a sad realization that Donatello was voiced by Corey Feldman, thus a new name must be found for DJ Donatello. Submit your concoctions here, maybe if we're lucky by next week that stink of Faildman will be washed away and the horror can come to a swift conclusion.

The existance of a local, badass Tumbler makes me happy.

I was able to meet the local guy who built a drivable Tumbler replica in his garage. I first read about him in Popular Mechanics magazine and the Kalamazoo Gazette had an article about him a few weeks ago. Its always great to discover things like this locally.
His youtube channel can be found here; there are now videos posted of it driving!
