Tardy submissions.

It took no less than four different attempts to get last weeks podcast uploaded and posted. Whewww, finally did it. Many much apologies to those of you awaiting this weekly update with baited breath. This week marks Chapter 2 of Bram Stoker's Dracula in audiobook format. You also may notice that The Imp and I are beginning to form that cohesive unit of partnership that allows for the witty repartee (a veritable staple of the LAN Party). Stream the show: Download the MP3: HERE Reference the Archive.org page: HERE Enjoy. Respectfully yours, Jackie & The Imp

Pre-trip podcast

This week's show was short and simple. I admit I didn't spend a lot of time on preparing the playlist and it shows. Please pardon my awkwardness around the beginning of the broadcast. This week has been crazy busy for your humble DJ. In addition to sleeping through class today I had yet another friend leaving Michigan in pursuit of good opportunity. This summer has been jam packed with activities!

In other news, I'm on my way to see Clutch this afternoon in Champaign-Urbana, IL at The Canopy Club. I should be staying the night and then checking out the Chanute Air Museum the next day. What makes this somewhat exciting and daunting is that this will be my longest journey-by-motorcycle ever undertaken. Cross your digits for me. I promise to do a write up following the trip.

Hot chips

In case you hadn't noticed, its pretty hot outside this week. Your humble DJ recommends hydration, shade, and an internet connection to stream/download/enjoy this latest podcast.

This week's show marks the 21st episode of the Hitchhiker's guide series. Only five more to go before it concludes. The music selection this week was solid. Enjoy.

Pre-rapture podcast.

This marks our final Pre-rapture podcast. Thats right folks, get your duct tape and bottled water now! Armageddon it!
But really, we don't put much faith in Harold Camping and his predictions. Just, uhhh, sit back and let the rapture not enfold you.

This show featured the 14th installment of the Hitchhiker's Guide series. Following that was our t-shirt giveaway from Miles To Go Clothing. One of our faithful listeners, Jon From Ann Arbor, called in with the correct answer to our trivia question and won the shirt. Jealous, much?
The music was pretty damn good, as well. Highlights include El Chombo, Steve Mason, and Professor Elemental.

So, here is the 5-18-11 show. Download the m4a.

Here are those shows I've neglected to upload for so long.

We're sitting here in the WIDR studio podcrafting the shows and watching the excellent Star Wars Episode II review from Red Letter Media. While we're here I took the opportunity to upload those podcasts I've been too lazy to upload earlier.

Here is the .m4a for the 4-13-11 show. Clicky.

Here is the .m4a for the 4-20-11 show. Clicky.

Sorry for the delay.

Same shit, different format.

Howdy.
This is the most current Podcast (airdate 4-27-11). You will notice that it is in .m4a format. Uploading them to archive.org in this manner prevents us from inserting the streaming function on this blog post. Sorry. If you prefer us to upload the mp3 instead, please let us know.

Also, there are several shows from the past few weeks that are not uploaded yet. I will get to uploading them soon, I promise.

Download the .m4a Control click, save, blah blah blah.

Fresh podcast for our listeners. And a haiku.

Mushman phones it in
DJ Gun Rack brings the pain
Without Truth, what's false?

It feels lonely without the cast of The Truth to keep us company while we're busy podcrafting but we'll eventually regrow our hard, calloused perspective that frightens strangers and creates a hostile environment.
We're continually finding more CDs in rotation that we enjoy and feel the need to share with you. This influx of music is quite welcome, as the studio pickin's were rather slim in years past. A solid block of Mushman's portion of the show was all music in rotation. Exciting.

We heard through the grapevine that the webstream is still down. We apologize for our interweb listeners. If we knew how to fix it, we would. Instead, we'll just yell at all of the Apple computers in the studio as if they're the problem (Well, they are a source of problems. Just not this time.)

Can you handle The Truth?

Tonight's show was all about The Truth.

Yes, The Truth's final show followed our show tonight. We look forward to the next person who will fill the 2-4am Wednesday morning slot. If you want to hear The Truth installments from the past, click here.
Those astute listeners will catch on to the pattern in tonight's show. Truth is bandied about like a Muskegon whore.

We enjoy these challenges; look for more "theme LAN Parties" in the future. It will help weed out those heckling requests. If you have any suggestions for themes, let us know. Theres a comment button down there somewhere.

A show to last until October

October is almost upon us like an advancing stranger in the night. I have my bear-mace at the ready. The good news about October is that the end of the month will be the anniversary of our podcasts. I, for one, am pretty excited about having made it this far. I will have to do some checking but next week should be our 50th podcasted show. Crazy.

Enough babble! On to tonight's show!

This turned out to be quite a heavy show, with some unintended metal requests in addition to the metal songs I had already decided upon. This does not bother me in the slightest, although I will admit to the show feeling a bit "off" at times. Perhaps it was the absence of DJ Gun Rack. Yeah. Thats it. Blame him.

Thanks for your continued listenership,
Harvey Mushman.

The last two podcasts....here ya go!

Here ya go, nerds and nerdettes; more LAN Party podcasts that will motivate children to leave the house and get some sunlight!
Archive.org was being a bitch last week and would not let us upload the podcast. I was successful this week in uploading. So here are the last two shows, airdate 1-27-10 and 2-3-10. Enjoy! Or not!

5ive de Mayo

Yes we're back and with some hiccups, some laughing fits and in general a sad realization that Donatello was voiced by Corey Feldman, thus a new name must be found for DJ Donatello. Submit your concoctions here, maybe if we're lucky by next week that stink of Faildman will be washed away and the horror can come to a swift conclusion.

Oh and here is the podcast for 11-25-2009
